At Starborn Consulting Group, we’re not claiming decades of startup consulting experience. We’re two people who’ve spent our careers mastering the real-world skills that help businesses run better — and now, we’re using those skills to help new entrepreneurs get started the right way.

Corey Graves – Founder & Business Strategist
Corey brings over 20 years of experience in retail management, sales, and team leadership. With a degree in business and a sharp instinct for what makes customers say yes, he knows how to turn ideas into offers and lead with confidence. He’s also our lead designer, helping clients craft brands that not only look great — they make sense.

LaToya Graves – Co-Founder & Systems Consultant
LaToya is a systems thinker with a reputation for turning chaos into clarity. With over 15 years in HR and deep experience in process improvement, she’s helped organizations streamline operations, improve performance, and scale smart. Her work is grounded in Lean Six Sigma and SCRUM methodologies.  Her background in writing and communication gives her a unique edge in building tools and workflows that people actually understand and use. LaToya’s superpower? Seeing the patterns, fixing the gaps, and building simple systems that make big moves possible.

Together, we created Starborn to give early-stage founders the support we wish more people had: real talk, smart systems, and no fluff. If you’re ready to launch, we’re ready to help.

 In early 2025, while facing the uncertainty of potential layoffs, we looked at each other and realized something:

We were done letting other people decide what we were worth.

We had both built things before — side hustles, creative projects, freelance gigs for friends — whenever life gave us a little breathing room. From Corey’s design brand Unleashed Grfx to LaToya’s stationery shop and HR consulting side work, we knew how to get ideas off the ground. But this time felt different.

We didn’t want another hustle. We wanted a business that built freedom - for us, and for others like us.

So we took inventory of what we had:
• A combined 35+ years of experience in leadership, HR, communications, systems, and branding
• A community full of smart, creative people with amazing ideas — and no idea where to start
• A fire in our gut to finally bet on ourselves

That’s how Starborn Consulting Group came to life — not from a perfect plan, but from a refusal to play small any longer. We created Starborn to help everyday visionaries move from stuck to start, with the tools, structure, and real-world guidance we wish we’d had when we were just getting started.

This isn’t just business to us. It’s personal. And we’re just getting started.
